How is the new loyalty program different from the old loyalty program?

Earning Points (Bolts) Loyalty members will earn 2 bolts for every $1 spent on the new rewards program. Your bolts will automatically be converted into a free any size drink upon reaching the 200-point threshold.

Do I get a free drink for my birthday?

Members that add their birthday to their account will be eligible for a free medium hot or iced drink that they can redeem within 30 days of their birthday.

Do my Black Rock Rewards and Bolts expire?

Yes, bolts expire after 180 days inactivity. If you do not make a purchase at a location or via our mobile app within a period of 180 days, all unredeemed bolts, including welcome bonuses, will expire and be removed from your account. Free any size drink rewards expire 60 days after being loaded onto your account

Can I earn bolts in the drive-thru, online/mobile ordering and in-store?

Members earn bolts when they provide their phone number in-store and at the drive-thru. Compared to the old program, where members could only earn points on mobile app and in-store/drive-thru orders, members will now be able to earn bolts when they sign into their registered account and order online on the Black Rock Coffee Bar website. Additionally, members who have downloaded the new Black Rock Coffee Bar app and register will be able to earn bolts on all mobile orders.

Can I use more than 1 reward in a single transaction?

Yes, members can redeem more than 1 reward at a time.

When should I expect to receive my rewards/bolts?

Earned rewards and bolts will show up in 24 hours.
