Black Rock Coffee Bar first opened in Portland, Oregon, in 2008 as a small single-sided drive-thru coffee shop.

From the very beginning, our focus has always been on people and building connections within our local community. Now operating in seven states, Black Rock stores exist to create a hub for the communities we reside in - a place to work or study, a place to meet friends, a place to take the family, or a place to grab a cup of coffee while on the go. Everyone’s story is unique, and our purpose is to provide quality products, form positive, lasting relationships, and fuel the stories of individuals within our local community.
